Hey Chris, thanks for the review. First off, we are delighted you are happy with the product. Secondly, thanks for the feedback on shipping. We checked into it. Shipping tends to cost more than people expect because we ship heavy parts. Shipping isn't a profit center for us, and we will gladly use a customer's UPS numbers if requested. So let me breakdown what happened on this order. The price you paid was for UPS ground delivery. The 2-day shipping cost is closer to a couple of hundred dollars, which is HUGE. We recommend against it if possible. Again, you, as our customer, are free to use your own UPS number, we are not trying to make money off shipping. What is worse is because of Covid, just because you pay for 2-day shipping doesn't mean you get it. This is the UPS Covid policy.
When we get feedback, we are always trying to see what we could do better. The best way to lower shipping costs and get you the product quicker is put the product closer to you. This how Amazon does it. We've looked into using them, but it would cost us even more. Another option is to open more warehouses around the country. Even thinking about that will have to wait until we are not on lockdown anymore.
