This lip cylinder is designed to be used with Kelley brand dock levelers. Hydraulic dock levelers are much easier to use than traditional pull-chain dock levelers, but over time lip cylinders can degrade and malfunction. Lip cylinders are responsible for extending and retracting dock leveler lips, which rests on the transport vehicle’s floor and forms a sort of safety threshold between the dock leveler and the transport vehicle. If you own a Kelley dock leveler and your current lip cylinder has reached the end of its expected lifespan, Parts Brite has the aftermarket replacement part you need to restore function to your dock leveler lip.
