Limit switches on dock levelers are activated after trucks have left loading docks and dock levelers are retracted to their stored position. Limit switches ensure that the dock leveler returns to the correct position – six to eight inches above the dock height – for proper storage. This female limit switch is for Rite Hite dock levelers. It is a replacement part for female limit switches which are failing or have failed, making it impossible to return the dock leveler to its correct stored position.
