More Description for Rite-Hite 56540
Cage nuts are made up of square nuts inside a spring steel cage, which surrounds the nut. On the backside of the cage are two wings, which, when compressed, can allow the user to insert the nut into a square hole. Cage nuts are commonly used on dock levelers, but they can experience wear and tear over the years. These cage nuts are replacement parts and are intended for use with Rite-Hite dock levelers.
