Sometimes called a Zerk fitting or a grease nipple, this grease fitting is designed to dispense lubricants, such as grease, into a bearing. This grease fitting has a taper thread that secures it to the bearing. This component essentially acts as a valve and conduit for lubricants to be forced into the bearing via a grease gun, ensuring the bearing has the necessary grease to function properly. This grease fitting is for use with RIte-Hite dock levelers.
